Seed Plant Supervisor

Role Overview:

Responsible for supervising day-to-day operations of processing, packaging, printing, and dispatch in the seed plant. Ensures smooth workflow, quality standards, manpower management, and timely order execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily seed processing (cleaning, grading, gravity, etc.).
• Supervise packaging lines and ensure correct materials, weights, and sealing.
• Coordinate with printing team for TL labels, pouches, and roll printing.
• Plan and monitor dispatches, ensuring correct lots, quantities, and documentation.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and inventory accuracy.
• Manage operators and labor teams, ensure SOP & safety compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance for machine issues and minimize downtime.
• Ensure zero contamination and adherence to seed quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Sc/B.Tech in Agriculture, Seed Technology, or related field.
• 3–7 years experience in seed plant operations preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
