Security Specialist F5

As an F5 Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing F5 BIG-IP load balancing solutions to ensure high performance and availability. You will collaborate with network and security teams to seamlessly integrate F5 technologies into the overall network infrastructure. Configuration and troubleshooting of F5 LTM and GTM for effective traffic distribution and robust failover mechanisms will be a key part of your role. You will work closely with application teams to understand specific requirements and provide tailored F5 solutions. Monitoring network performance, analyzing metrics, and recommending improvements will also be within your responsibilities. In addition, you will contribute to planning and executing network upgrades or migrations involving F5 systems. Implementing and maintaining security policies to ensure compliance and protection within the F5 environment will be crucial. Providing expert-level technical support and resolution for F5-related issues is another aspect of the role. It is essential to stay current on industry trends, innovations, and best practices related to F5 technologies. Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an F5 Network Engineer or in a similar capacity is necessary. You should have comprehensive knowledge of F5 BIG-IP platforms and associated technologies, along with a strong foundation in networking concepts, protocols, and security principles. Possessing relevant certifications such as F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) or F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS) is highly desirable. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as well as the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to evolving priorities. Analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude are also important qualities. Preferred skills for this role include familiarity with F5 SSLO (Secure Socket Layer Orchestrator) and F5 Distributed Cloud solutions. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
