Job Description

As a Cyber Security Analyst with a minimum of 7 years of experience, you will be responsible for the Incident Management and Response, handling escalations effectively. Your role will involve in-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks, threat vectors, risk management, and incident management. You will be working in a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment, utilizing SIEM technologies & Security Event alert Analysis for analyzing and trending security log data from various security devices. Your key responsibilities include: - Providing threat and vulnerability analysis, as well as security advisory services - Investigating, documenting, and reporting on information security issues and emerging trends - Guiding and sharing information with other analysts and teams - Conducting Malware analysis and Phishing Analysis - Understanding Email security and TCP/IP Protocols - Communicating effectively by contributing to the development and delivery of various written and visual documents - Utilizing tools like SIEM, XDR, SSL, Packet Analysis, HIPS/NIPS, Network Monitoring tools, and more - Being willing to work overtime and adjust to critical incidents escalated to L3 for immediate handling Qualifications Required: - Strong working knowledge of security-relevant data and network protocols - Experience with cybersecurity tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint detection & response solutions - Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects and initiatives, and multitask effectively - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience in developing and maintaining Play/Runbooks and/or Standard Operating Procedures in a SOC environment - Strong troubleshooting, reasoning, and analytical problem-solving skills - Ability to communicate technical details clearly to junior IT personnel and management - Team player with the ability to work autonomously In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you should have experience in cybersecurity incident discovery, network forensics, intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and endpoint protection. Your keen understanding of cybersecurity tools, involvement in threat intelligence and cybersecurity communities, and ability to recognize and analyze potential intrusion attempts will be crucial for success in this role.,
