Security Governance Consultant_Pune & Bangalore

Job Role & responsibilities:-

• Major support to development and implementation of global security governance frameworks aligned with ISO 27001, other security frameworks and riskbased strategy.
• Oversee the Information Security Management System (ISMS) lifecycle, including audits, evidence collection, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and report on the execution of global security programs, including PSS (Physical Security Services), Operational Resilience, and Information Security.
• Coordinate with PMO and local IT/security teams to ensure timely delivery, budget control, and quality outcomes
• Prepare and lead security (ISO 27001 & other security frameworks) audits, including training auditees, validating evidence, and managing audit schedules.
• Support the lead to evaluate the global and local security teams, IT, compliance, and external partners

Technical Skills, Experience & Qualification & Certifications required:-

• 7+ years of experience in security governance, risk management, and project leadership.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, ISMS, and business continuity principles.
• Proven experience in managing global security programs and audits.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in financial or insurance industries preferred.
• Ability to work independently and influence across a matrixed organization.
• Previous business and / or IT security and risk experience in a large commercial organization.
• Extensive experience in an Information Security or risk role.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Certifications required such as CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer highly desirable.
