Security Assistant

As a Security Guard at our company, your role involves monitoring and controlling access points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises. You will conduct routine patrols to detect suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches. In case of alarms, emergencies, or incidents, you are expected to respond promptly and report them to the appropriate authorities. Enforcing company security policies, rules, and regulations among employees and visitors is crucial. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining order during events to ensure crowd control and safety. Operating and monitoring surveillance equipment, security cameras, and alarms, as well as maintaining logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor entries, are also part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and control access points - Conduct routine patrols - Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents - Enforce company security policies - Assist in maintaining order during events - Operate and monitor surveillance equipment - Maintain logs and records Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum 10th standard education preferred - Prior experience in security (preferred but not mandatory) - Physically fit and able to stand for long hours - Good observational and communication skills - Ability to handle emergency situations and work under pressure - Basic knowledge of first aid and fire safety is an advantage Location: Trivandrum, Kerala Please note that the job type is full-time and permanent.
