Security Assistant

You will be responsible for conducting physical frisking and bag checks of individuals entering the premises in accordance with company or organizational protocols. It is essential to ensure that the frisking process is carried out with dignity, respecting the privacy and rights of all individuals. In addition, you will operate security scanning devices such as handheld metal detectors or walk-through scanners. Maintaining a polite and professional demeanor with visitors, employees, and stakeholders is crucial for this role. You will be expected to identify suspicious behavior or items and escalate issues to senior security personnel as required. Keeping accurate logs and incident reports in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs) is also part of the job responsibilities. Adherence to and enforcement of all safety and security policies is a key aspect of this role. The position involves working in shifts, including weekends and holidays as required by the organization. In case of emergencies, you will be expected to assist in crowd control and emergency evacuations.
