Security Analyst

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Enterprise Security Operations (ESO) team responsible for managing infrastructure security operations globally at Google. Your role will involve utilizing process improvements and automation to enhance information security across all aspects of the organization. As a member of the Core team, you will play a crucial role in building the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products and driving innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct various security reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with enterprise standards. - Apply security judgment to approve, deny, or escalate requests based on risk assessment and policy alignment. - Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and business units to provide security guidance and support informed decision-making. - Identify and implement opportunities to automate workflows, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency. - Develop a comprehensive understanding of Google's internal security frameworks, controls, and policies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience in analyzing cyber threats, security analysis, security assessment, and risk analysis. - Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Preferred: 5 years of experience in security operations or assurance, automation, and cybersecurity. - Preferred: Experience in conducting security assessments or reviews to assess underlying risk. - Preferred: Proficiency in automation, process optimization, and security tools to improve assessment efficiency. - Preferred: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise reporting.,
