Position: Sector Executive / Program Officer – Circular Economy & Recycling Initiatives Organization: Material Recycling Association of India (MRAI) Location: Mumbai / Delhi Experience: 2–6 years Type: Full-time Openings: 4 candidates About the Role: As part of MRAI’s strategic expansion into new verticals—such as Carbon Credits, C&D Waste, Critical Minerals, Textiles, Agriculture Waste, Liquid Waste, and Paper Recycling—we are hiring dynamic professionals to lead data-driven research, stakeholder engagement, and sectoral program development. Key Responsibilities: => Data Collection & Mapping: > Identify and build databases of stakeholders including recyclers, aggregators, manufacturers, and government bodies. > Track waste generation, collection trends, recycling practices, and recovery technologies. => Monitoring & Analysis: > Monitor industry developments, regulatory updates, and best practices in the sector. > Analyse collected data to identify policy gaps, investment potential, and sustainability outcomes. => Reporting & Documentation: > Prepare white papers, policy briefs, dashboards, and analytical reports for internal and external stakeholders. > Support the development of recycling roadmaps and national-level position papers. => Stakeholder Engagement: > Liaise with industry players, ministries, academic institutions, and technology providers. > Represent MRAI in events, consultations, and policy roundtables. => Program Implementation Support: > Contribute to pilot programs, workshops, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building efforts in your vertical. Required Skills & Qualifications: > Bachelor's or Master’s in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Policy, Agriculture, or relevant discipline, LLB / LLM, CS, CA, MBA. > 2–6 years of work experience in sustainability, recycling, waste management, or data research roles. > Well-read with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and reporting. > Excellent written and verbal communication skills. > Self-motivated with an ability to work across diverse sectors and teams.
