Section Warping Machine Operator

Machine Setup & Operation

·      Set up and operate sectional warping machine as per SOP.

·      Ensure correct yarn threading through guides and tension devices.

Yarn & Material Handling

·      Verify yarn type, size, and blend against specifications.

·      Load/unload yarn from creel.

·      Calculate beam length and package count.

Quality Checks

·      Inspect warp for uniform tension and correct alignment.

·      Add lease strings and flat reed draw-in as per design.

·      Run waxing device as required.

Maintenance & Cleaning

·      Clean lease reed, flat reed, and machine using air hose.

·      Report mechanical issues and assist in basic preventive maintenance.

Reporting & Handover

·      Log production data and beam details.

·      Communicate shift status and beam status to next operator.

Safety & Housekeeping

·      Follow all plant safety procedures and use PPE.

·      Keep work area clean and organized.

·      Report unsafe acts or conditions immediately.

Define Work Output Expectations

·      Ensure first quality beams.

·      Maintain accurate shift handover.

·      Reduce waste and machine downtime.
