Role Overview: As a Packing Department Manager in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/food processing industry, you will be responsible for managing the packaging processes, ensuring control over packaging activities, monitoring yield losses, and minimizing manufacturing costs. Your role will involve overseeing the on-time completion of batch records and documents, reviewing SOPs, providing on-the-job training, and coordinating with QA and QC for validation and in-process checks. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the packaging processes effectively - Control packaging activities and monitor yield losses - Ensure cost-effective packing material consumption on commercial batches - Initiate plans to minimize manufacturing costs - Review batch records and documents online - Prepare and review SOPs related to packaging activities - Provide on-the-job training to executives and technicians - Coordinate with QA and QC for validation and in-process checks and approvals - Maintain and monitor cGMP standards throughout the process activity Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in the packing department in pharma/healthcare/food processing - Hands-on experience with Lean, OEE, and similar KPIs - Familiarity with UK MHRA or US FDA procedures - Experience in equipment procurement, installation, startup, validation, and trial production run of a new WHO GMP compliant Packing facility Note: The office location for this position is in Surat.
