Role Description

This full-time, on-site role as Secretary to the Board is based in Surat. The Secretary will be responsible for organizing Board meetings, preparing meeting materials, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards. The role involves supporting strategic planning activities, liaising with government organizations, and facilitating effective communications between the Board and other stakeholders. The Secretary will also ensure the implementation of Board initiatives and provide administrative support where necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in working with the Board of Directors and experience in managing Board activities and documentation
  • Strong understanding of Corporate Governance and compliance-related responsibilities
  • Skills in Strategic Planning to support the Board in decision-making and achieving organizational goals
  • Public Relations expertise to foster effective communication with stakeholders and enhance the bank's public image
  • Experience in working with Government organizations and regulators for compliance and liaison purposes
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and maintain confidentiality
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Corporate Governance, or a related field; a professional certification in company secretarial practices is a plus
