SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

You are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to become a valuable member of the QA Automation Team. Your expertise in automation testing, particularly with Python, Pytest, Cucumber, and BDD (Gerkin), will be instrumental in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role. Additionally, experience in X-ray and JIRA integration, Allure report generation, and the ability to effectively lead a team of 5-6 QA engineers are essential for success in this position. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automation test frameworks and test scripts using Python, implementing X-ray and JIRA integration for test management and tracking, developing and executing BDD test cases using Cucumber and Gerkin, generating detailed test reports using Allure reporting, identifying, analyzing, and efficiently troubleshooting defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance test processes and product quality, leading a team of 5-6 QA engineers while ensuring adherence to automation best practices, and promoting excellent documentation and communication across the team. To excel in this role, you must possess automation expertise in Python, Pytest, Cucumber, and BDD, experience with X-ray and JIRA integration, knowledge of Allure report generation, strong communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking, and the ability to lead and mentor a QA team effectively.
