SDET (Snowflake)

As an SDET (Snowflake focused), your role will involve conducting analysis, design, implementation, and unit testing to produce high-quality code. You will also be responsible for designing and developing automated testing tools to create a unified manual and automated test strategy. Engaging in product design activities, breaking down requirements into tasks, ensuring code adherence to standards, and effectively collaborating within a software development team are key responsibilities. Additionally, actively participating in requirements, design, and code reviews, engaging in group improvement activities, and writing documentation for internal and external consumers will be part of your duties. Mentoring associate software developers, partnering with feature developers and other SDETs, and collaborating with the Performance & Scalability team are also important aspects of the role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct analysis, design, implementation, and unit testing to produce high-quality code - Design and develop automated testing tools to create a unified manual and automated test strategy - Engage in product design activities, which may include research and analysis - Break down requirements into tasks and provide estimates for those tasks - Ensure that code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security, and performance - Function and communicate effectively within a software development team - Actively participate in requirements, design, and code reviews - Engage in group improvement activities and initiatives to enhance process and product quality - Write documentation for both internal and external consumers, covering design artifacts, code, and fixes - Mentor associate software developers and contribute to process improvement activities - Partner with feature developers and other SDETs to build tools and infrastructure - Collaborate with the Performance & Scalability team to integrate performance and scalability into all test strategies and project plans **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field - 7+ years of experience in the job offered or a related role - Proficiency with SQL and database functions - Hands-on experience with Automation frameworks - Experience in Agile environments with short turnaround times - Strong communication skills - Strong analytical skills - Experience with Snowflake, Talend, Tableau, and Sigma This is a permanent job type with benefits including Provident Fund.
