As an SDET QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web, API, and cloud-based applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for various applications. - Conducting API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks. - Writing automation scripts in Python to validate application functionality and integration. - Setting up and managing test pipelines within CI/CD environments, preferably using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. - Performing database validation using both SQL and NoSQL systems. - Collaborating with developers and DevOps engineers to facilitate seamless integration and continuous delivery. - Contributing to cloud testing, particularly in Microsoft Azure environments. - Exploring and implementing effective testing strategies for AI/GenAI-based systems, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and ethical standards. - Performing root cause analysis, providing detailed bug reports, and ensuring timely issue resolution. - Advocating for best practices in test automation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Minimum of 10 years of experience as an SDET/QA Automation Engineer. - Strong expertise in API testing methodologies and tools. - Proficiency in Python for test automation. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins. - Solid knowledge of SQL and at least one NoSQL database (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB). - Experience in testing strategies for AI/GenAI-based systems. - Working experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure. - Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. - Strong collaboration and communication skills.
