As a Quality Analyst with a focus on Automation and Manual Testing for software products across web, mobile, and API platforms, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the system. You will design, implement, and execute test plans, both manually and through automated testing tools, to identify and address defects. Additionally, your proficiency in database testing will ensure the integrity and reliability of data interactions within the system. Your key responsibilities will include: - Test Planning and Design: - Developing comprehensive test plans based on project specifications. - Designing and documenting test cases for web, mobile, API, and database testing. - Collaborating with development teams to understand system requirements. - Automation Testing: - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium). - Executing automated test suites and analyzing results. - Identifying opportunities for test automation and implementing efficient testing strategies. - Manual Testing: - Executing manual test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing. - Documenting and reporting defects, providing detailed information for developers. - Conducting exploratory testing to identify unforeseen issues. - Web, Mobile, and API Testing: - Performing end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications. - Validating API functionality and integration points. - Ensuring compatibility across different browsers and mobile devices. - Continuous Integration: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI pipelines for automated testing and deployment. - Integrating automated tests into CI workflows to enable early detection of defects. - Continuously assessing and optimizing CI processes for speed, efficiency, and reliability. - Database Testing: - Developing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity. - Verifying data transformations and migrations. - Identifying and addressing performance issues related to database interactions. - Collaboration: - Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories. - Participating in agile ceremonies, providing input on quality-related aspects. - Test Documentation: - Maintaining detailed and organized documentation of test cases, results, and issues. - Creating and updating testing documentation as the application evolves.
