As a motivated individual who shares the vision of being a changemaker, you will be part of a fast-paced team shaping various aspects of business and technology at Binocs.co. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and set up a best-in-class digital platform for the Private Credit industry and take ownership of the components. - Build robust and scalable web-based applications, focusing on platforms and reusability. - Contribute to High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs). - Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications. - Mentor team members on effective coding practices. - Conduct comprehensive code reviews, ensuring both functional and non-functional aspects are addressed. - Ensure security, performance, and reliability of backend systems through testing, monitoring, and optimization. - Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile development processes to maintain code quality and project timelines. - Take ownership of the platform and strive to deliver outstanding customer outcomes. - Stay updated on the latest development trends, tools, and technologies, including product problems and new domains like gen-AI. **Qualifications Required:** - 3-5 years of backend development experience, with a proven track record in architecting and implementing scalable systems. - Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Golang, Node.js, Java) and tech stack for writing maintainable, scalable, and unit-tested code. - Good understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Elasticsearch). - Solid knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices. - Experience with multi-threading and concurrency programming. - Strong object-oriented design skills, familiarity with design patterns, and the ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces. - Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). - Knowledge of Test Driven Development, microservices architecture, serverless computing, and event-driven architectures. - Understanding of DevOps practices, tools for continuous integration and deployment, and contributions to open-source projects or developer communities. - Experience working with LLMs and AI technologies.
