SDE-1 Backend Developer

As a Software Development Engineer-1 (SDE-1) Backend Developer, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. You will collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements. Your responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. - Collaborating with front-end developers and team members for seamless integration. - Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Optimizing applications for speed and scalability. - Working with databases to ensure data consistency and security. - Participating in code reviews and contributing to process improvements. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems. Qualifications Required: - 13 years of experience in backend development using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. - Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL. - Good understanding of Docker. - Strong knowledge of calling REST API integration with UI components. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. - Good knowledge of Git. - Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality and coverage. - Quick learner with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Good to have: - Experience with Strapi or other headless CMS platforms. - Exposure to containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean. - Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth and JWT.
