SDE-1 Backend Developer

As a Software Development Engineer-1 (SDE-1) specializing in Backend Development with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript, you will be a valuable addition to our team in Noida, India. With 13 years of hands-on experience, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of scalable backend services, ensuring top-notch performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Your proficiency in Strapi v4 (or above) or other headless CMS tools will be an added advantage. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements seamlessly. Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and ensuring data consistency and security in databases will be essential aspects of your role. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. To excel in this role, you should possess 13 years of experience in backend development utilizing Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. A solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming, familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and knowledge of Docker are key requirements. Strong expertise in API integration, CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Git, and SonarQube for code quality and coverage are also essential. Being a quick learner with excellent communication and teamwork skills will further enhance your profile. Experience with Strapi or other headless CMS platforms, exposure to containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Digital Ocean, and an understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth and JWT will be advantageous.
