Scrum Product Owner AI-Driven Sports Video Production

As a Product Owner at OZ Sports, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the end-to-end product lifecycle in our Scrum process and adjacent AI services. Your primary responsibility will be to turn broad goals into a prioritized backlog, champion Agile best practices, and ensure that every release delights operators, clubs, and viewers alike. Working closely with two cross-functional squads (AI/ML and Full-Stack), you will deliver scalable features that push the boundaries of autonomous sports broadcasting. Key Responsibilities: - **Vision & Roadmap**: - Refine and communicate the product vision, camera-control APIs, and analytics modules. - Maintain a transparent product roadmap balancing near-term reliability with long-term innovation. - **Backlog Management**: - Write and prioritize epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Asana. - Continuously groom and re-rank the backlog using data, user feedback, and business KPIs. - **Sprint Execution**: - Lead sprint planning, review, and retrospective ceremonies for two engineering squads. - Define Definition of Done and accept or reject completed work to uphold quality standards. - **Stakeholder Alignment**: - Act as the primary bridge between management, engineering, design, operations, and external partners. - Gather requirements, negotiate trade-offs, and keep all stakeholders informed of progress. - **Data-Driven Decisions**: - Instrument product features to capture usage, latency, and model-performance metrics. - Analyze data to drive continuous improvement and ROI-focused prioritization. - **Market & Competitive Insight**: - Track advances in AI-powered production and recommend strategic bets in standards, streaming protocols, and camera hardware. Qualifications: **Must-Have**: - 4-7 years of experience as a Scrum Product Owner or Product Manager delivering B2B/SaaS products. - Hands-on expertise with Agile/Scrum frameworks and backlog tools (Asana, Linear, Jira, etc.). - Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear user stories and specs. - Strong analytical skills; comfortable with dashboards, A/B tests, and KPI-driven prioritization. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. **Preferred**: - Domain knowledge in broadcast, sports production, or real-time video systems. - Familiarity with PTZ protocols or event-driven micro-services. - Understanding of Computer Vision or ML model lifecycles. - Experience working in distributed or hybrid engineering teams.
