Key Areas of Responsibility
The IT Scrum Master is responsible for overseeing scrum ceremonies, aiding teams in delivering comprehensive scope, liaising with stakeholders, mitigating impediments, managing risks, and promoting relentless improvement, working under limited supervision and broad guidelines.
The role facilitates Scrum planning sessions, ensuring clear goals and alignment with project objectives while fostering collaboration among team members.
The role manages the backlog, prioritizing tasks based on stakeholder feedback to meet project needs and maintains momentum.
The role oversees synchronization meetings, ensures transparency with stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement initiatives, fostering built-in quality practices and process adherence within agile teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Orchestrates Scrum planning sessions, setting the expectations for upcoming sprints to ensure clear goals, efficient execution, and alignment with overall project objectives, fostering a collaborative environment where team members can actively contribute to sprint planning and applies intermediate understanding of entrepreneurial skills in daily work.
Manages and optimizes the inflow of stable requirements for the team, ensuring a well-defined backlog that facilitates smooth sprint planning and execution, while continuously refining and prioritizing tasks based on feedback from stakeholders to meet evolving project needs and maintain momentum.
Manages periodic synchronization meetings, including the Scrum of Scrum / ART sync at the Program level and the Value Stream sync for Solution Trains, effectively solving impediments and ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
Works under limited supervision and broad guidelines, ensuring transparency and radiates status to all relevant stakeholders (e.g., RTE / Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)) and supports related activities, ensuring everyone is informed about progress, risks, and upcoming milestones.
Drives continuous improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assesses the agility level of the Team / ART / Solution Train and helps them improve through iterative feedback and process enhancements.
Fosters built-in quality practices and process adherence, ensuring that quality is integrated into every aspect of the development process and that teams follow best practices consistently.
Works under limited supervision and broad guidelines, incorporating feedback from Operations into Sprint cycles and includes DevOps principles into Sprints, aligning development and operations to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and deployment speed.
Works on a single Train or with a few agile teams, supporting them in adopting Agile practices, coaching them to improve their Agile ways of working, and ensuring they deliver high value in each sprint.
Oversees agile transformation within a software department together with Software Leaders, guiding new agile teams through forming, storming, norming, and performing stages in a new technology or business domain with high uncertainty and frequent pivoting, contributing to larger software projects and trains.
Preferred Certification:
Project Management Foundation Certification.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
