Scrum Master

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master, ensuring proper implementation of Agile processes.
• Guide the Product Owner (PO) in effectively adopting the Scrum framework and ensure their availability to the team.
• Assist the PO in maintaining the Product Backlog, defining User Stories, and establishing clear Acceptance Criteria.
• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Ensure the Definition of Ready (DOR), Definition of Done (DOD), and Acceptance Criteria are available and adhered to.
• Ensure strict MoSCoW prioritization of the Sprint Backlog during sprint planning and execution.
• Protect the Scrum Team from external interruptions and foster an environment of focused collaboration.
• Enable smooth communication across team members and assist in resolving technical or process-related impediments.
• Provide performance feedback of team members to Agile Line Managers and Program Leaders.
• Ensure all Scrum artifacts are maintained and updated appropriately.
• Analyze Scrum metrics regularly and take necessary corrective actions to improve team efficiency.
• Train and mentor team members on the principles and practices of Agile and Scrum.
• Own and track the execution of actions identified during Sprint Retrospectives.
• Participate in and contribute to Community of Practice (CoP) initiatives.

Experience Requirement:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to coach teams and facilitate all Agile ceremonies effectively.
• Experience in managing Agile metrics and using them for continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated capability in handling multiple stakeholders and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
