Script Writer

About the job

We are looking for a talented scriptwriter to join our team in Faridabad. In this role, you will

work from rough cut storyline videos prepared by editors, along with research articles and

briefs provided by our investigative team. Your task will be to transform these materials into

engaging, polished scripts for long-form true crime and investigative content. The ideal

candidate combines strong storytelling instincts with an ability to work from factual outlines,

ensuring that each script is accurate, structured, and compelling for narration.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear, engaging scripts from rough cut storyline videos and research materials.
• Build narrative flow, tension, and clarity while staying true to the facts.
• Translate complex legal or investigative details into audience-friendly language.
• Ensure factual accuracy by cross-checking with provided research.
• Collaborate with editors and producers to refine tone, pacing, and delivery for narration.

Requirements:

• Degree in journalism, creative writing, media, or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent English writing skills with a strong grasp of narrative style.
• Experience in scriptwriting, screenwriting, or documentary writing (true crime background
• is a plus).
• Ability to enhance factual outlines into scripts that hold audience attention.
• Strong editing/revision skills and an eye for detail.
• Based in Faridabad (preferred). Candidates from Delhi NCR must be willing to commute to
• the Faridabad office.
