Script Writer

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and imaginative Script Writer to join our team. As a Script Writer, you will be responsible for crafting engaging, original scripts for short films and web series that resonate with our diverse audience. You will collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to bring stories to life on screen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, revise, and develop original scripts for short films, web series, and other video content.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project requirements and vision.
• Research and create authentic, compelling narratives that reflect the culture and ethos of the project.
• Develop well-rounded characters, engaging dialogue, and captivating storylines.
• Adapt scripts based on feedback from the creative team and make revisions as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and apply new techniques to storytelling.
• Meet deadlines and work within project timelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Script Writer, preferably in short films or web series.
• Strong creative writing skills with a portfolio showcasing original work.
• Ability to create unique, captivating stories and characters.
• Excellent understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and dialogue.
• Familiarity with regional culture, language, and storytelling traditions in Kerala.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Malayalam and English (writing and reading).
• A degree in Creative Writing, Film, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in screenwriting for web series and/or short films.
• Passion for storytelling with a keen eye for detail.
• Understanding of different genres, including drama, thriller, romance, and more.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
Contract length: 11 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
