SCM specialist

As a Specialist in Master Data Management at Novartis in Hyderabad Hybrid, you will be responsible for overseeing complex global master data management processes within the SAP ERP system. Your primary focus will be to ensure accurate and timely preparation and maintenance of master data in alignment with supply chain operational activities, GxP and regulatory requirements, internal regulations such as the Novartis Quality Manual, best practices, and business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include hands-on experience in SAP transactions for material creation, extensions, setups, and interpreting various master data components. You will be tasked with processing master data tickets according to SOPs, business matrices, SLA timelines, and KPIs. Additionally, you will work towards enhancing your functional understanding in supply chain, data quality, and other relevant domains. A solid understanding and knowledge of supply chain management, SAP systems, and navigation, as well as a basic comprehension of pharmaceutical products, regulatory requirements, artwork, and lifecycle events will be essential for this role. You will play a crucial role in providing and maintaining material, customer, and vendor master data setups while adhering to applicable SOPs and work practices. Furthermore, you will need to develop a keen awareness of operating within a GxP environment and ensure compliance with Novartis" policies. Proactively planning for change management, driving team goals and metrics, and maintaining accountability for assigned tasks with high data quality standards will be integral to your success in this position. Participation in mandatory trainings, proactive actions for improvement, and a commitment to customer satisfaction will also be expected. To be successful in this role, you should hold a graduate or post-graduate degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Science, or equivalent, with a minimum of 3-7 years of experience in master data operations within supply chain management. Proficiency in SAP S4 HANA, MDG-M, and prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be advantageous. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively within multinational teams in a dynamic business environment, are desirable qualities for this role.
