As a Sanger Sequencing Specialist at our company, you will play a crucial role in handling clinical samples through various molecular biology techniques. Your attention to detail and proficiency in using bioinformatics tools for primer design and data analysis will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Take overall responsibility for processing clinical samples of the Sanger module - Consolidate Sanger validation requests - Design, order, and track primers - Enter data in the Sanger Tracker from the Laboratory Information Management system (LIMS) - Standardize Polymerase chain reactions (PCR) and perform assays with clinical samples - Maintain Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) machines on a daily basis - Run samples on Capillary Electrophoresis CE machine - Analyze processed samples for Sanger sequencing and prepare results for interpretation - Manage end-to-end processes from query resolution to reporting - Conduct Mutation Specific Testing, Sanger Sequencing, MLPA, QFPCR, etc. Qualifications Required: - Experience in Mutation Specific Testing, Sanger Sequencing, MLPA, QFPCR, etc. - Proficiency in molecular biology techniques - Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for primer design, sequence interpretation, and quality assurance In this role, you can expect to work in an innovative and open culture within a truly multicultural environment.
