School Receptionist/Administrator

Job description:

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and responsible School Receptionist who can also teach subject(s) of their choice to students from Grade 1 to Grade 9 based on the school’s class allocation. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, basic teaching ability, and a positive attitude toward students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities:

Manage the school reception, including welcoming parents, visitors, and students.

Handle phone calls, inquiries, messages, and basic front-office documentation.

Maintain student records, attendance registers, and general school files.

Coordinate with teachers, management, and parents for daily school operations.

Teach subject(s) of choice to students from Grade 1 to Grade 9 as per school allocation and CBSE curriculum.

Assist in school activities, events, parent–teacher meetings, and training sessions.

Ensure smooth communication between school staff and parents.

Support administrative and academic coordination as needed.

Requirements:

Graduation preferred (B.Ed is an added advantage but not mandatory).

Ability to teach one or more subjects across Grades 1–9.

Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, record keeping).

Friendly, patient, and professional attitude.

Prior experience preferred but freshers may apply.

Ability to work collaboratively with staff and build good relationships with parents.

Willingness to learn and support both administrative and teaching responsibilities.
