Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide immediate medical care and first aid to students and staff in case of illness or injury.
Assess student health complaints and take appropriate action.
Administer prescribed medications and maintain proper documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records, including immunization data.
Monitor and manage communicable disease control measures within the school.
Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and wellness practices.
Liaise with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns.
Assist in developing and implementing health and safety policies for the school.
Ensure the school’s medical room is stocked, clean, and well-organized.
Coordinate with local healthcare providers or hospitals in case of emergencies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc Nursing) from a recognized institution.
Valid nursing license/registration.
Minimum 1 years of nursing experience (preferably in pediatric or school settings).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and effectively.
Knowledge of child health, nutrition, and hygiene standards.

Work Conditions:

Full-time position.
School working hours might extend with occasional requirement for special events.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
