The person will be responsible for supporting the Resource Management team to ensure that various Resource Management tools are updated to reflect correct staffing status. They will also publish reports to show performance of various KPI’s.
In addition to Data Management, the Resource Scheduler will effectively fill resource engagement requests and is responsible for overseeing the utilization of resources, ensuring alignment of resources with the strategic plan, analyzing operational results and promoting the development of staff for the LOB or Service Line/Solution set they support. Provides information for short-term and strategic planning as directed. Implements strategies to increase capability specialization and achieve business goals. Acts as a resource and the point of contact for all department managers to mediate conflicts and resolve resource needs that develop within the area. Promotes and monitors sharing of resources within LOB/Service Line/Solution Set. Communicates with management regarding future needs versus availability, potential staffing issues, and other information to allow the effective deployment of resources. Essential Duties:

Data Management: The person will be responsible for following duties and shall be expected to take up additional tasks as assigned by their leader.

• Functions as part of Resource Management team in managing the Scheduling System updates in the Firm’s chosen tool accurately and timely.
• Assists RM in validating 7216/ SOW consent. Update short term to long term staffing in assigned RM tool.
• Assists the RM team in Shelf assignment work.
• Generates scheduling, utilization and forecasting reports and provides analysis using the Scheduling system and multiple software packages (i.e., MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Proofs, edits and checks work for completeness, accuracy and formatting.
• Verifies that scheduling, reporting and other related information is current and accurate.
• Structure large data sets to find usable information and use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data.
• Collaborate with Resource Management team and client engagement teams to understand their business needs and drive consistency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate both verbally and written with diverse audiences at all levels of the organization.
• Effective organization and time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Should be able to operate with sense of urgency.

Resource Management: The Resource Scheduler provides support of the resource management function including, but not limited to:

• Assist the resource manager and LOB/ Capability leaders in implementing scheduling processes and engagement management. Collaborate with leaders and client teams to understand business needs, ensuring consistency and compliance with financial, capacity, client, and staff development priorities.
• Generates scheduling, utilization and forecasting reports and provides analysis of the data that assists regional leadership in making staffing decisions. Identifies trends to proactively balance workloads while increasing utilization. Provides various forms of analysis including financial, profitability and exception reporting. Monitors productivity, conflicts, leverage, availability, travel and non-charge hours.
• Provides input to Career Advisors relative to utilization, etc. to assist with talent development. Participates in talent development meetings for ECS teams, providing candid feedback on interactions, understand individuals goals for future rotation opportunities, assignments, industry exposure, FWOs, etc.
• Monitor schedules to ensure staff are effectively utilized to support the achievement of financial plans for the business by reviewing available resources and facilitating necessary adjustments ensuring the alignment of resources based on experience, industry alignment, account prioritization, technical expertise and geography when appropriate.
• Facilitate scheduling meetings as needed, including asking questions to ensure clarity when making recommendations, offering solutions and enforcing best practices through teams. Follow-up on unresolved issues in a timely manner that may require rescheduling of projects and/or staff.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Good understanding of MS Office with high proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
