Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Directly accountable for the safe, complaint and efficient planning and scheduling of customer engine maintenance demands.
• Review daily, weekly delivery plans and organize the daily planning activity to plan demand and capacity requirement. • Review Technical shop visit instructions and prepare execution schedules for all Engine /Module activities. • Responsible for efficient allocation of appropriately skilled resources based on Gate management strategies • Deployment of shift operation considers human factor principles and fatigue management in compliance to regulatory requirements. • Liaising with SAESI departments (Operations, Materials, Engineering, Quality, etc.) to ensure smooth and efficient execution of work scope TATs. • Responsible for setting individual PDR objectives and performance management of the planning department staff, including coaching and development

• Track progress of service orders for all shop visit activities related to Engine, module, component level maintenance and apply changes in schedule as applicable.
• Daily management Level 2 SQDPI for shop product line planning in accordance with SAFRAN QR/QC principles. • Ensure efficient allocation of appropriately skilled resources based on engine delivery targets. • Work together with Operations, Materials, Engineering to resolve service order ambiguities and work scope escalation impacts. • Guide & supervise bay planners. • Conduct regular meetings with gate managers to communicate daily plan/change of plan/TAT • Overview alignment of planning schedules with progress. • Mentoring planning coordinator to generate demand signals for material kitting preload prior Gate 3 Assembly • Demonstrate planning processes during audits. • Review staff training requirement & propose plan • Report manager planning on daily progress

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Diploma or Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 to 20 Yrs of planning experience preferably in MRO • Process knowledge in Engine Build up/Module removal /Installation/repair/overhaul.

Basic knowledge of Leap engine & its modular construction.
• Excellent human skills (Effective Communication, Multi stake holder collaboration)
