Designation: Scanning Survey Engineer

Department: Infra BIM

Leading site data acquisition using advanced scanning technology and transforming point cloud data for accurate BIM deliverables for infrastructure and building projects.

Activities & Responsibilities:

Worked closely with designers and client team to develop following deliverables,

1. Perform comprehensive post-processing of scanning data, including registration, cleaning, and optimization of point clouds.
2. (Preferred) Apply knowledge of Geolitix software for advanced subsurface utility mapping (SUM) and GPR data interpretation.
3. Lead the Scan-to-BIM workflow by accurately converting point cloud data into intelligent 3D models (BIM) for existing conditions and as-built documentation.
4. Utilize BIM and post-processing software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Autodesk ReCap to integrate scanning data into project models.
5. Generate accurate 2D drawings, sections, elevations, and detailed reports based on the processed point cloud and BIM models.
6. Collaborate with design, engineering, and client teams to ensure the resulting BIM models meet project specifications and dimensional accuracy requirements.
7. Document all field procedures, processing methods, and quality assurance checks.

Qualifications:

Experience

Skills & Competencies :

• Geolitix Software - Preferred
• Autodesk ReCap - Expert knowledge
• Leica and Faro Scanners - Expert operational experience
• Scan-to-BIM Process - Expert knowledge

Technical Qualification :

• Sound knowledge of LiDAR principles and scanning methodologies.

• Expertise in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scanning

  and data interpretation
• Proficient in point cloud

  post-processing, registration, and cleaning
