Job Description

An S&C GN - SC&O - Fulfillment - Consultant is a strategic supply chain professional responsible for developing and implementing strategies and solutions to optimize a client's fulfillment functions. Key responsibilities include improving logistics and fulfillment strategy through assessments and roadmaps, re-engineering processes, designing and managing transformation projects, and overseeing areas like warehouse layout, transportation planning, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development:
Develop and implement strategies, best practices, and change management programs for efficient fulfillment operations.
Performance Improvement:
Assist in improving key performance indicators for logistics and fulfillment through process assessments and performance gap analysis.
Roadmap Creation:
Create strategic roadmaps and business value cases for clients to help them achieve their goals.
Solution Design & Management:
Design, architect, and manage solution-led transformation initiatives for clients in areas like organization structure, governance, and process reengineering.
Operational Oversight:
Provide expertise in logistics strategy, organization, network, processes, operations, and technology, including transportation planning, route planning, and warehouse design.
Client Engagement:
Draft proposals, define objectives, and develop action plans for prospective clients, fostering strong relationships to identify new opportunities.
Implementation & Guidance:
Guide teams during the build and testing phases of projects, ensuring the continuous improvement of logistics strategies and technologies.

Required Skills & Expertise

Supply Chain Knowledge:
Deep understanding of logistics and fulfillment processes, best practices, and industry trends.
Process & Solution Expertise:
Proven ability to assess processes, identify gaps, reengineer them, and design strategic solutions.
Project Management:
Experience in managing and delivering projects related to supply chain transformation.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical abilities to solve complex business problems and deliver client satisfaction.
Client-Facing Skills:
Ability to build client relationships, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions.
