Provide L2/L3 support for SAS applications in production and development environments.
• Monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.• Maintain and enhance existing SAS programs and ETL workflows.• Collaborate with business users, data analysts, and other IT teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.• Participate in change management, release planning, and deployment activities.• Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance, and audit requirements.• Document support procedures, job flows, and issue resolutions.• Strong hands-on experience in SAS Base, SAS Macros, SAS EG, and SAS DI Studio.• Experience with SAS Grid, SAS Visual Analytics, and SAS Management Console.• Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, and job scheduling tools (LSF & Control-M).• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data marts.• Experience in incident management, problem management, and change management.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.• Flexible to work in shifts and handle on-call support.
