As a SAS Governance and Compliance Consultant at Lericon Informatics, you will be entrusted with the vital responsibility of overseeing the effective implementation and continuous management of our SAS environment through SAS Governance and Compliance (SAS GRC). Your role will involve playing a pivotal part in mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering data governance best practices. Your main duties will include developing and executing data governance policies and procedures to uphold data quality, integrity, and security. It will be essential for you to establish and enforce data management guidelines that comply with regulatory requirements, including GDPR and other pertinent regulations. Regular audits and assessments will need to be conducted by you to identify and address compliance risks proactively. Furthermore, you will be expected to supervise data management practices to guarantee data accuracy and reliability. Implementation and maintenance of data security measures, such as access controls and encryption, will fall under your purview. Collaboration with both business and IT teams will be crucial to align governance and compliance practices with the overarching organizational objectives. Communication with stakeholders regarding governance policies, compliance status, and related matters will be a key aspect of your role. You will also be required to provide training and assistance to users on the data governance framework and best practices for compliance. Documentation of governance and compliance procedures, as well as the generation and review of compliance and governance reports for internal and external stakeholders, will be part of your routine tasks. Lastly, meticulous record-keeping of compliance activities, audits, and risk assessments will be essential to ensure transparency and accountability in all governance and compliance-related efforts.,
