SAP Vertex Consultant

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading the integration of Vertex indirect tax products with SAP Financial Systems, analyzing business requirements to translate tax requirements into product functionalities, providing consultative support to address client concerns, managing projects by developing proposals, coordinating activities, and providing reports, mentoring other team members for Tax items, managing SAP FI Vertex tax data, designing and deploying alternatives, understanding the relationship between costs, schedule, quality, and speed, and participating in calls during EST hours as required. Key Responsibilities: - Integrate Vertex indirect tax products with SAP Financial Systems - Translate tax requirements into product functionalities - Provide consultative support and address client concerns - Develop project proposals, coordinate activities, and provide project reports - Mentor other team members for Tax items - Manage SAP FI Vertex tax data - Design, propose, and deploy alternatives - Understand the relationship between costs, schedule, quality, and speed - Participate in calls during EST hours as required Qualifications Required: - Minimum of five years of experience in SAP Tax, Vertex, or other tax engine for North America - At least one full ERP to tax engine implementation experience - Knowledge of Vertex Accelerator and VENDORecon - SAP retail accounting knowledge is a plus Company Details: RADIANSYS INC is the client for this position.
