SAP Transformation Service - S/4 HANA Data Migration Work package Lead

Role Overview: As a Data Migration Specialist at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies for different templates in scope for SAP transformation projects. You will lead a team of specialists, work closely with stakeholders, ensure data quality and integrity, manage migration tools, maintain documentation, resolve issues promptly, and provide regular project updates. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive data migration strategies for different templates (E.g.: ECC to S4, S4 to S4) in alignment with business objectives - Lead and manage a team of data migration specialists, providing guidance and oversight throughout the migration process - Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure stakeholder needs are met - Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance through data profiling, analysis, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation - Define and manage ETL processes using tools like SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, and Syniti, exploring innovative ideas for automation - Maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes and provide regular project updates - Identify and resolve data migration issues promptly, collaborating with functional consultants as needed Qualification Required: - Education: B.E (any field) or M.B.A (General Administration) - Total Experience: 15 years - Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP data structures, SAP ABAP, SAP Data migration tools, and proficiency in SQL - Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills - Additional Tools: Experience with Syniti tools or other third-party migration tools is beneficial - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Additional Details: The role may involve collaboration with cross-functional teams and travel to client locations as needed.
