SAP Technical Consultant – HR ABAP & Workday Integrations

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP Technical Consultant with proven expertise in SAP HR ABAP and Workday integration frameworks. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to develop, support, and optimize SAP solutions while leading and enhancing Workday integration capabilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical acumen, leadership in integration strategy, and a proactive approach to delivering scalable solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain SAP HR ABAP solutions, including reports, Smart Forms, Adobe forms, and interfaces (ALE, IDOC, BAPI, OData).Translate functional specifications into efficient technical solutions in collaboration with business analysts and process owners.Lead the architecture, design, and execution of Workday integrations; provide guidance and oversight to junior consultants.Conduct code reviews, enforce development best practices, and ensure comprehensive technical documentation.Support Workday security and reporting teams from an integration standpoint, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.Contribute to internal capability building, knowledge sharing, and upskilling initiatives within the Workday and SAP integration domains.

Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on HR ABAP.Hands-on expertise with SAP enhancements, user exits, ALV reporting, BADI, and web services.At least 1 year of Workday integration experience, including end-to-end design, development, and support.Solid understanding of HR business processes and enterprise systems architecture, including both SAP and Workday.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with full-cycle SAP implementations.Familiarity with SAP PI/PO and development of integrations with external systems.
