Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System module.
- Design and configure learning plans, curricula, certifications, compliance courses, learning assignments, and catalogs based on client requirements.
- Customize LMS workflows, approval processes, notifications, and reporting to align with organizational and regulatory needs.
- Collaborate with HR and Learning & Development teams to develop effective learning strategies and maximize LMS adoption.
- Develop and manage
Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
to ensure secure access and data segmentation across LMS users including learners, instructors, managers, and administrators. - Create, customize, and maintain comprehensive
LMS reports and dashboards
, including People Analytics Story Reports
, to provide actionable insights on learner progress, course completion rates, certification renewals, compliance status, training effectiveness, and user engagement. - Troubleshoot and resolve LMS-related system issues and provide end-user training and documentation.
- Manage LMS content lifecycle, including uploading, scheduling, version control, and deactivating outdated courses.
- Integrate LMS with other SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Compensation, and Performance & Goals for a seamless talent management experience.
- Stay updated on SAP SuccessFactors releases, new features, and industry best practices for LMS.
Technical Skills Required:
SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS):
- Extensive hands-on experience with LMS administration including:
- Learning Plans and Curricula setup and maintenance
- Certifications and Recertifications management
- Compliance Course Management (Regulatory Training)
- Learning Assignment creation and automated assignment rules
- Event Management and Instructor-Led Training (ILT) configurations
- Course Catalog and User Group Management
- Automated Notification & Reminder configurations (email & system alerts)
- Learning History and Transcript management
- SCORM and AICC content upload and integration
- LMS Custom Reports, Dashboards, and Data Exports
- User and Course Analytics with trend analysis
- Proficient in LMS system configuration including:
- Workflow configuration for approvals and escalations
- Scheduling and Session management for ILT and virtual training
- Integration configuration with LMS connectors and APIs for third-party content providers and systems
- Managing system upgrades and testing patches/releases
- Strong knowledge of LMS security models and data privacy compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
LMS Reports Development:
- Skilled in developing and customizing LMS reports using standard reporting tools and
People Analytics Story Reports
. - Ability to design detailed, role-specific reports covering:
- Learner progress and completion tracking
- Course attendance and engagement statistics
- Certification and compliance status with renewal alerts
- Training effectiveness and satisfaction surveys
- User activity logs and system usage patterns
- Experience creating dashboards and visualizations that simplify data interpretation for HR, L&D, and management teams.
- Knowledge of report scheduling, automated distribution, and export formats (PDF, Excel, CSV).
Role-Based Permissions (RBP):
- Expertise in designing and managing detailed RBP configurations tailored to LMS roles such as learners, instructors, administrators, and managers.
- Ability to control access to content, reporting, user management, and administration based on organizational hierarchy and user groups.
People Analytics:
- Skilled in creating
Story Reports
and analytics dashboards focused on: - Learner engagement and completion rates
- Training compliance and certification tracking
- Course effectiveness and satisfaction metrics
- User activity and system usage statistics
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors Admin Center and Provisioning tools.
- Experience with LMS content lifecycle management and third-party content integration (SCORM, AICC, xAPI).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors
Employee Central (EC)
or other modules like Compensation or Succession & Development. - Experience integrating LMS with EC or other SuccessFactors modules for unified talent management.

Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System Certification.
- Experience in global LMS implementations, particularly in compliance-heavy industries.

- Exposure to integrations with Employee Central or other SAP SF modules.
