Position Overview:

Senior SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP SD Implementation & Configuration:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the SAP SD module, including blueprinting, design, configuration, and deployment.
• Customize and configure the SAP SD module to meet specific business requirements related to order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and customer management etc.,
• Ensure the seamless integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, and FI.

2. Business Process Optimization:

• Conduct business process analysis and re-engineering to identify opportunities for optimization and automation within the sales and distribution processes.
• Implement best practices and ensure SAP SD processes are aligned with industry standards and business objectives.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, offer solutions, and manage expectations.
• Communicate project progress, timelines, and challenges to both technical teams and business users.

4. Training & Support:

• Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system enhancements.
• Develop and deliver training materials, and conduct training sessions for end-users and internal staff.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants, ensuring knowledge transfer and fostering skill development within the team.

5. Testing & Documentation:

• Lead or support unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that configurations meet business requirements.
• Create comprehensive documentation for configurations, business processes, and user guides.

6. Project Leadership & Coordination:

• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for SAP SD implementation projects.
• Collaborate with business users, cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, and other SAP consultants, to ensure successful project outcomes.

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with the latest SAP releases and trends in the SD module and apply new technologies to enhance functionality.
• Continuously improve system performance and support best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:

• At least 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD, with a proven track record of implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP SD solutions.
• Experience in handling SAP SD projects and managing client relationships.
• Should have experience customized program implementation

• Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP SD functionality, including Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Delivery Processing, Credit Management, Master Data, GST, E-Invoice, Logistics, Export Sales, CKD Export Sales, and Sales Information System.
• Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and other modules (MM, FI, PP, etc.).
• Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization.
• ABAP debugging experience will be added advantage.

• Business Process Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of end-to-end sales processes, including sales order management, contract management, and customer relationship management.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and provide SAP-based solutions.

• Problem-Solving:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex SAP SD issues.

• Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

• Education & Certifications:

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• SAP SD certification (SAP Certified Application Associate – Sales and Distribution) is a plus.
