Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing SAP SD Incident Management support and integration insights on other support modules to end users, ensuring effective utilization of SAP and surrounding applications. In addition, you will collaborate with the SAP SD Lead to resolve problems and implement necessary changes. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support in resolving SAP application issues, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem resolution. - Offer functional insights to the Technical Team for Incidents and Problem tickets that could not be resolved by the L2 team. - Provide functional insights for L3 Incidents related to respective SAP modules in both primary and secondary environments, which may involve non-SAP platform applications. - Handle requests through the Ticketing tool, including follow-ups, incident updates, and closure within stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Possess strong knowledge in the integration of SD/FI, SD/MM, and SD/PP scenarios. Change Management Responsibilities: - Prepare test plans for all Change Requests (CRs) requiring more than 3 days of effort, especially for medium and complex CRs. - Manage end-to-end delivery of RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) for medium and complex CRs, involving the development of functional specifications, testing, and deployment. - Gather and disseminate data for various stakeholders, such as Management Information Systems (MIS) and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Engage in Knowledge Management activities by creating/updating system documentation and training/user manuals. - Collaborate regularly with Business/HR to provide SAP process and solution insights for End user training, new joiners, and Chief Executives. - Manage SAP Roles & Authorization effectively and drive continuous Business Process improvement initiatives. Qualification Required: - Degree in BE/B-Tech/MBA or equivalent. - Certifications (Optional): SAP SD, ITIL-F. Essential Skills: - Proficient in all SAP SD concepts, including SD Pricing, Document controls, GST and E-Invoicing, Variant Configuration, Batch Management, Credit Management/FSCM, etc. - Sound knowledge of SAP integration areas with SAP OTC-ECC/S4 and interfacing with other applications (APIs, IDOCs, etc.). - Basic ABAP debugging knowledge. - Familiarity with SAP HANA, exposure to Support Projects, and End-to-End Implementation projects. - Strong communication and interaction skills with stakeholders, including Business owners, End users, and Solution Architects.
