Job Description

SAP SD Consultant (Sales & Distribution)

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
Configure and customize the SAP SD module including order management, pricing, shipping, billing, and credit management.
Handle integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules (MM, FI, WM, etc.).
Work on end-to-end SAP SD implementation and support activities.
Create functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, and custom developments.
Support testing efforts including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Provide end-user training and prepare documentation for SD processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve SD-related issues in a timely manner.
Participate in global rollouts, upgrades, and system enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and system performance.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of
sales processes
including order-to-cash (O2C), pricing, shipping, billing, and returns.
Experience with
interfacing SAP SD with external systems
, EDI, and third-party logistics.
Understanding of
integration points
between SAP SD and other modules (FI/CO, MM, WM, PP).
Experience writing
functional specifications
for ABAP developments.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with functional and technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with
SAP S/4HANA
(especially SD in S/4HANA).
Exposure to
SAP Fiori apps
related to Sales & Distribution.
Experience in
international/global SAP rollouts
.
Knowledge of
credit management, rebate processing
, and
variant configuration
.
Understanding of
SAP IDoc processing
, ALE, and EDI communication.
SAP SD certification is a plus.
