SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant

Role Overview: As an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant specializing in Fixed Assets (FI-AA) and Profitability Analysis (COPA), you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing the SAP Finance modules to support fixed asset management and profitability reporting. Your role will involve driving accurate financial insights and compliance within a modern ERP landscape. It is preferred that you have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with exposure to at least 2 project implementations. Additionally, knowledge of other modules of FI like AP, AR, and GL is beneficial. Excellent communication skills along with Finance domain knowledge are essential for this role. The preferred locations for this position are Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Pune. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and support the Fixed Assets module within SAP S/4HANA Finance (Universal Journal - ACDOCA integration). - Manage asset master data, asset acquisition, capitalization, transfers, retirements, and depreciation areas with S/4HANAs enhanced capabilities. - Optimize asset accounting processes leveraging the Simplified Data Model in S/4HANA, ensuring real-time asset postings and reconciliations. - Facilitate integration between FI-AA, General Ledger (FI-GL), and other relevant modules using the Universal Journal. - Assist with asset-related month-end and year-end closing activities ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. - Leverage SAP Fiori apps and SAP GUI for asset management and reporting enhancements. - Provide support during S/4HANA migrations or upgrades focusing on Fixed Assets. - Configure and maintain profitability analysis in SAP S/4HANA using Account-Based COPA, aligned with the Universal Journal architecture. - Design value fields, characteristics, and profitability segments to enable granular profitability tracking and reporting. - Ensure seamless integration between COPA and Sales (SD), Finance (FI), and Costing (CO) components in S/4HANA. - Generate and analyze profitability reports using embedded analytics and SAP Fiori apps. - Support business users during period-end closing, variance analysis, and profitability reconciliation processes. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within COPA using new S/4HANA functionalities. - Collaborate with finance and controlling teams to optimize profitability data flows and decision support systems. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with exposure to at least 2 project implementations in SAP S/4HANA FICO. - Knowledge of other modules of FI like AP, AR, and GL is preferred. - Excellent communication skills and Finance domain knowledge are essential for this role.,
