Sap Project System Consultant

Job Summary:

The SAP PS Implementation Consultant is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Project System (PS) module to meet business requirements.

This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end SAP PS solutions aligned with organizational goals and integration needs across SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and training sessions for key users and stakeholders.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP Project System (PS) module, including Fit-to-Standard workshops, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Configure SAP PS functionalities such as WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), networks, activities, milestones, cost planning, resource planning, budgeting, progress tracking, settlement and project reporting
• Integrate SAP PS with other modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and HR) for seamless data and process flow.
• Define project profiles, investment profiles, and settlement rules as per business requirements.
• Loading data in the system using SAP tools
• Assist in cutover activities, data migration, and go-live readiness.
• Ability to perform show/demo SAP standard Business Processes as per SAP Best Practices in workshops.
• Design and propose SAP PS solutions that optimize business processes and enhance performance.
• Develop/Document and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests (UAT).
• Knowledge transfer of Unit testing to Business SME
• Ensure system performance, stability, and data accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and reporting within SAP PS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years

  of experience in SAP PS implementation and support with minimum 2 end Implementation experience where candidate has on own performed Fit-to-Standard workshops
• Strong understanding of

  end-to-end project management processes

  (engineering, construction, mining services, R&D, professional services, etc.).
• Hands-on experience configuring:
• WBS elements, networks, activities, and milestones.
• Cost planning, budgeting, and availability control.
• Project billing and settlement.
• Integration with FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with

  S/4HANA

  Public Cloud

  is highly preferred but not necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP PS certification.
• Experience with

  SAP Activate methodology

  and

  Agile project delivery

  .
• Exposure and knowledge to

  SAP EPPM (Project Portfolio Management)

• Knowledge of

  Fiori apps

  and

  SAP Cloud Platform

  integrations.
