SAP ABAP Cloud Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and support applications using
ABAP on Cloud (RAP, CDS Views, OData services)
.
Work on
S/4HANA Cloud and SAP BTP
environments, including
CAP (Cloud Application Programming)
model and
Fiori/UI5 integration
.
Collaborate with functional teams (FICO, MM, SD, HCM, etc.) to design technical solutions aligned with business processes.
Participate in
fit-to-standard workshops
, identify gaps, and develop custom extensions using
SAP Extensibility Frameworks
.
Ensure adherence to
clean core and cloud development best practices
.
Debug, test, and optimize code for performance and maintainability.
Support technical documentation, version control, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with international teams and support onsite delivery when required (Canada, Australia, North America).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years
of experience in
SAP ABAP development
, with at least
2+ years in ABAP Cloud / RAP / S/4HANA Cloud
.
Strong knowledge of
CDS Views, OData, BOPF, AMDP, and REST APIs
.
Hands-on experience with
SAP BTP
,
Fiori/UI5
, and
CAP model
is highly desirable.
Understanding of
Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
and
Clean Core principles
.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in agile environments and coordinate with global teams.
SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP for SAP S/4HANA
or
BTP Extension Developer
certification preferred.
