Job Summary:

Senior SAP PP with QM Consultant

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP PP (Production Planning) Functional Duties

• Configure and support:
• BOM, Routing, Work Centers
• MRP, Planning Strategies, Demand Management
• Production Orders & Process Orders
• Capacity Planning and Scheduling
• Shop Floor Execution & Master Data
• Lead end-to-end PP process design for discrete/process manufacturing.
• Analyze MRP results, troubleshoot production order issues, and optimize planning cycles.

2. SAP QM (Quality Management) Functional Duties

• Configure and support QM processes:
• Inspection Planning, Inspection Lots
• In-Process, Incoming, and Final Inspections
• Quality Notifications, Results Recording, Usage Decisions
• Quality Certificates, Sampling Procedures, MICs
• Support stability studies, batch management, and audit requirements.
• Implement quality workflows and enhance quality compliance.

3. S/4HANA Implementation & Support

• Lead PP and QM modules during greenfield, brownfield, and rollout projects.
• Conduct gap-fit analysis and design end-to-end processes in S/4HANA.
• Work with

  Fiori apps

  , embedded analytics, and new S/4HANA functionalities (like pMRP).

4. Cross-Module Integration

• Strong integration with

  MM, SD, PM, EWM, FI/CO

  .
• Ensure seamless data flow between PPQMMMPM for material quality and production.
• Collaborate with ABAP team for functional specs, enhancements, and reports.

5. Support, Testing & Documentation

• Provide L2/L3 production support for PP and QM issues.
• Create test scripts, conduct UAT, and provide end-user training.
• Document functional designs, process flows, and SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years

  of hands-on SAP PP and QM experience.
• Strong configuration knowledge in:
• PP: BOM, Routing, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning
• QM: Inspection Planning, Notifications, Results Recording, UD
• Experience in ECC and/or

  S/4HANA

  environments.
• Good understanding of shop-floor operations and quality processes.
• Ability to work with business users, gather requirements, and propose best practices.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
