SAP MM/SD Consultant

As a Full-Time SAP SD/MM Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules. Your main duties will include resolving incidents and service requests within defined SLA timelines, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to prevent issue recurrence. Additionally, you will configure and maintain SAP SD and MM modules based on evolving user requirements and collaborate with business users to gather requirements and implement system enhancements. You will address issues related to master and transactional data, including Material, Vendor, Customer, and Pricing records. Moreover, you will manage integration points between SAP SD/MM and other modules such as Financial Accounting (FI), Warehouse Management (WM), and Production Planning (PP). Your role will also involve participating in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) while coordinating efforts with Quality Assurance (QA) teams. To excel in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience supporting SAP SD and SAP MM modules. You should demonstrate a strong knowledge of key SD processes such as Order to Cash (OTC), Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, and Deliveries. Proficiency in SAP ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or SAP Solution Manager is essential. Moreover, you are expected to apply configuration skills in SAP SD and MM modules to meet business needs, understand Intermediate Documents (IDocs), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and integrations with third-party systems. Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills are crucial for supporting cross-functional collaboration. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will develop and update documentation, including functional specifications and user guides, and partner with Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) developers to deliver custom enhancements and troubleshoot system issues. You will also provide support during month-end and year-end closing activities specific to SD and MM processes.,
