SAP MM

Teamware Solutions is looking for a skilled SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant to optimize our procurement and inventory management processes. This role involves working with relevant SAP MM technologies, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to key business objectives by applying expertise in the SAP MM domain.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analysis & Design:

  Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements related to procurement, inventory management, and logistics within the materials management domain. Translate these into detailed functional specifications and design SAP MM solutions.

• Configuration & Customization:

  Configure various SAP MM modules and functionalities, including Purchasing (PRs, POs, Contracts, RFQs), Inventory Management (Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, Transfers), Valuation, Invoice Verification, and Master Data (Material Master, Vendor Master).

• Implementation & Deployment:

  Participate in the full lifecycle of SAP MM implementations, including system setup, data migration, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination, and post-go-live support.

• Troubleshooting & Support:

  Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex issues within the SAP MM environment. Offer ongoing support, maintenance, and continuous improvement for existing functionalities.

• Development Support & Integration:

  Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP developers) for custom developments (RICEFW objects) and ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FI/CO) and external systems.

• Testing & Quality Assurance:

  Design test scenarios, create test cases, and conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, regression) to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of SAP MM solutions.

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain detailed functional and technical documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and solution designs.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with business users, project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and operational excellence.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• SAP MM Expertise:

  Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience with the

  SAP Materials Management (MM)

  module.

• Module Scope:

  In-depth understanding of core MM processes such as Procurement to Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, MRP, Valuation, and Invoice Verification.

• Integration Knowledge:

  Familiarity with integration points between SAP MM and other SAP modules (e.g.,

  SAP SD, PP, FI/CO

  ).

• Analysis & Problem Solving:

  Excellent analytical skills to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP MM solutions. Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.

• Implementation Lifecycle:

  Understanding of the full lifecycle of SAP system implementations and support.

• Communication & Collaboration:

  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with business users and technical teams. Ability to work collaboratively in a project-oriented environment.
