Role Overview

SAP MM Consultant

You will play a critical role in optimizing procurement and inventory processes, ensuring seamless data flow across modules, and delivering scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Configure

  SAP MM in S/4HANA

  , including organizational structure, master data, purchasing, and inventory management.
• Implement end-to-end

  Procure-to-Pay (PTP)

  processes:
• Purchase Requisitions
  
• Purchase Orders
  
• Release & Approval Procedures
  
• Source Determination
  
• Configure

  External Service Management (ESM)

  , pricing procedures, and account determination.
• Set up

  Batch Management

  , outputs/forms, and physical inventory processes.
• Implement and support

  Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV)

  with accurate three-way matching.
• Configure

  special procurement scenarios

  such as subcontracting, consignment, and stock transport orders.
• Integrate SAP MM with

  FI, CO, and SD

  modules for seamless financial and logistics flow.
• Configure and monitor

  IDocs

  and workflows related to procurement processes.
• Support

  implementation, rollout, and production support

  activities.
• Manage incidents and changes using

  SAP Solution Manager (SOLMAN)

  and

  ServiceNow (SNOW)

  .
• Perform root cause analysis and provide timely issue resolution.
  
• Prepare functional documentation and support UAT activities.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 36 years

  of hands-on experience as an

  SAP MM Consultant

  .
• Mandatory experience in

  S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay (PTP)

  .
• Experience with

  at least 1 implementation/rollout project

  and

  1 support project

  .
• Strong MM configuration expertise in:
  
• Organizational Structure
  
• Master Data
  
• Purchasing
  
• Inventory Management
  
• Hands-on experience with:
  
• Release & approval workflows
  
• External Service Management (ESM)
  
• Pricing procedures
  
• Account determination & valuation
  
• Batch Management
  
• Outputs and forms
  
• Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV)
  
• Integration experience with

  FI, CO, and SD

  modules.
• Exposure to

  IDoc configuration, monitoring, and workflows

  .
• Basic

  ABAP debugging

  skills.
• Experience using

  SOLMAN

  for ticket and change management.

Good to Have

• SAP Certified Application Associate –

  SAP S/4HANA for Procurement

• Experience with
