SAP MM Consultant

As an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring SAP MM processes, supporting deployment activities, and collaborating with business stakeholders for requirements analysis. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working on SAP MM configurations such as Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation, and Invoice Verification. - Contributing to end-to-end SAP MM implementation, from requirement gathering to post-go-live support. - Customizing and configuring MM module according to business needs. - Integrating MM module with FI, SD, and WM modules as necessary. - Resolving tickets in SAP MM promptly. - Assisting in testing phases including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. - Developing functional specifications for custom developments. - Conducting training sessions for key users and providing post-go-live support. In order to excel in this role, you should possess: - 3 to 5 years of SAP MM functional experience. - Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP MM implementation project. - Strong knowledge of Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Material Master Data, Vendor Master, Pricing, and Release Strategy. - Familiarity with MM-FI and MM-SD integration. - Proficiency in writing and validating functional specifications. - Good understanding of business processes in manufacturing or retail industries. - Exposure to IDocs, LSMW, or BDC for data migration is preferred. - Proficiency in using SAP GUI and SAP Fiori is advantageous. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Nice-to-have skills include exposure to S/4HANA environment, basic understanding of ABAP debugging, and knowledge of SAP Ariba, SRM, or SAP WM.
