SAP Materials Management - Techno Functional Consultant

As an SAP Materials Management Techno-Functional Consultant at our company, you will be responsible for facilitating the implementation and support of SAP MM, including both Procurement and Inventory Management according to business requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with Core Business and SAP IT teams, along with SI Partner, for the implementation of MM module as per the Project Plan. Acting as a liaison between business functions and the technical team. - Developing and implementing SAP MM strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance procurement efficiency, inventory control, and vendor management. - Mapping business requirements, processes, and objectives, identifying gaps, issues, developing necessary product modifications, and providing work around solutions adopting SAP standard functionality. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in procurement and inventory management. - Monitoring and analyzing SAP MM system performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary enhancements or customizations. - Validating Functional Specification Document prepared by SI partner from Sustainability and Business requirement fulfillment perspective ensuring minimal impact on core customization. - Documenting functional designs, UAT test cases, scripts, and results. - Proactively identifying and proposing business process and/or system enhancements. - Providing technical guidance and support to resolve complex issues and troubleshoot problems related to SAP MM functionality. - Staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in SAP MM and proactively suggesting innovative solutions to improve business processes. - Conducting training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on SAP MM functionality and best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field - BE/BTech/MBA/MCA Full-Time Education - SAP Certification in MM Work Experience: - 6-8 years of experience as SAP MM Senior Consultant. - Minimum 2 SAP MM module implementations, preferably in the Automotive sector. - In-depth Knowledge of SAP MM Configuration, Master Data, and Integration with other SAP Modules. Additional Details: - Behavioral Competencies: Effective Communication Skills, Analytical Skills, Self-Motivated in Learning new concepts and sharing knowledge with team members. - Technical Competencies: SAP MM Module-Procurement, SAP MM Module-Inventory Management, Knowledge of ABAP, Knowledge of PI/PO for Interfaces. Please note that experience in Global template implementation and rollout, understanding of other modules like FICO, SD, EWM, conversion tools, interface with 3rd Party systems, Ariba and Sourcing system integration, BTP, RPA implementation, FIORI Apps, Dashboards, and handling complex Purchase Order pricing with retrospective Price amendments will be beneficial. Make sure to have knowledge of Master Data Preparation, Validation, and Execution for this role.,
