Role Overview:

SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Consultant

Initial Focus:

Extension Scope:

You will work collaboratively with onshore stakeholders, business analysts, and other functional teams to ensure high-quality SAP IBP solutions are delivered in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support

  SAP IBP Demand Planning (DP)

  module (initial priority).
• Configure and support additional SAP IBP modules for the extension phase:

• Response and Supply Planning (RSP)

• Control Tower

• Inventory Optimization (IO)

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and translate them into system configuration.
• Customize key planning operators, planning views, key figures, and planning areas based on business needs.
• Set up integration between IBP and S/4HANA or ECC, including

  CPI-DS

  configurations.
• Develop and execute test cases for UAT and system integration testing.
• Provide post-go-live support and system enhancements.
• Work with analytics teams to support reporting from Control Tower and planning KPIs.
• Participate in global deployment projects, ensuring consistent and scalable solutions across regions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP SCM experience

  , including at least

  4 years with SAP IBP configuration

  .
• Proven experience in configuring

  SAP IBP Demand Planning

  and at least two other IBP modules from the following: Response & Supply, Control Tower, or Inventory Optimization.
• Experience with

  CPI-DS / HCI-DS

  for data integration with IBP.
• Strong understanding of time series-based planning, heuristics, supply propagation, and what-if simulation scenarios.
• Familiarity with the

  Consumer Goods and/or Life Sciences

  industry processes and compliance needs.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work independently from offshore.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to

  S/4HANA embedded PP/DS

  or APO migration projects.
• SAP IBP certifications in relevant modules.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning integrations within IBP.
• Familiarity with tools such as Fiori apps, Excel Add-in for IBP, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
